Alyssa has always dreamed of creating a space where people can come to feel confident and rejuvenated, and she made that dream a reality by opening Sunset Spa LLC. Her number one goal is to ensure that every client feels welcomed, comfortable, and cared for from the moment they walk through the door. Alyssa is passionate about creating a relaxing environment where individuals can unwind, boost their self-esteem, and leave feeling refreshed, confident, and empowered.
Delaney Briggs
Cosmetologist
Delaney has been a licensed cosmetologist for 16 years and is especially passionate about blonding, vivid hair colors, and eyebrow shaping. With a keen eye for detail and a love for creative transformations, she strives to give her clients the hair and brows they've always dreamed of. Delaney is confident in her ability to make every client feel refreshed, confident, and completely happy with their results, ensuring they leave her chair with a smile. Breeanna is passionate about waxing, skincare, and all things beauty. Abby excels in lash extensions, waxing, skincare, manicures, pedicures, cryotherapy, and providing relaxing, rejuvenating services. She is especially passionate about lash extensions and waxing, with a particular expertise in Brazilian waxing. Abby is dedicated to making her clients feel confident, comfortable, and well-cared for throughout their experience. Whether enhancing your lashes or offering a smooth, flawless wax, Abby ensures every client leaves the spa feeling refreshed, pampered, and empowered.
Nora Knowlton
Nail Technician
Nora specializes in structured gel manicures and elegant, hand-drawn designs. With a keen eye for detail, she creates long-lasting, flawless nails that are both functional and beautifully artistic. Whether you're looking for a clean, classic look or a unique custom design, Nora’s expertise ensures your nails are as beautiful as they are durable.
Ella Caron
Cosmetologist
Ella’s passion lies in waxing and shaping eyebrows, but she loves offering a full range of services—everything from nails and haircuts (including men's cuts) to facials and lash extensions. Helping people feel their best is what drives her, and she can’t wait to bring her skills to each client!
Phoebe
Meet Phoebe, our lovable Shih Tzu and professional snuggle expert! She’s always thrilled to greet clients with her sweet, playful energy—though you’ll usually find her curled up for a cozy puppy nap in between.
Liza
Meet Liza, our Bahama Mama! 🌴 This curious kitty made the long journey from the Bahamas to the Portland Humane Society, and eventually found her forever home at Sunset Spa with her mom, Alyssa.
Liza is an inquisitive little explorer who loves to watch manicures and snuggle up in clients’ arms whenever she’s not waiting eagerly for her automatic feeder to go off.
She is always respectful to those with allergies, or simply don't want a kitty visit.
Galahad
Meet Galahad, our professional hugger and fetch-loving senior boy! 😻 Though he’s a bit older, he’s still full of love and energy—always ready for a cuddle or a game of fetch.
If you have a cat allergy, please let Alyssa or any of our team members know, and we’ll happily make sure Gally enjoys a peaceful nap upstairs. All of our treatment rooms are kept pet-free to ensure a comfortable experience for everyone.
Tomato
Meet Tomato, our super shy girl! 🍅 Tomato was adopted from the Lewiston Humane Society at just 6 months old in 2022. When she was adopted, the Humane Society sent her home with a tomato box, and she loved it so much that her mom, Alyssa, decided to name her after it.
Though she’s a bit shy, Tomato enjoys coming into the reception area in the evening when things are quiet and calm.
